GENETIC REBALANCE LTD – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of DNA testing and related wellness services (“Services”) provided by Genetic Rebalance Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 By purchasing a DNA test or using our Services, you (“Client”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
1.3 Our Services provide general lifestyle and wellness insights only. Neither Genetic Rebalance Ltd nor our partner laboratory Stride (“the Laboratory”) provides medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic services.
2. The Services
2.1 Genetic Rebalance Ltd acts as a facilitator and reseller of DNA-based wellness testing. All DNA extraction, analysis, and reporting are conducted solely by Stride, an independent accredited laboratory.
2.2 Our Services include:
• supplying the DNA test kit;
• registering the kit with the Laboratory on your behalf, using your name and email address, before posting it to you;
• instructions for collecting your sample and returning it directly to the Laboratory using the prepaid envelope;
• an optional free 15-minute discovery call to understand your health goals and concerns;
• reviewing your results with the Laboratory's nutrition specialist, taking into account any health information you share with us;
• downloading your report from the Laboratory's secure portal once it is released and sending it to you.
2.3 Reports provide lifestyle insights only and do not diagnose or predict medical conditions.
2.4 You will not have direct access to the Laboratory's online portal. By placing an order and giving your consent, you authorise Genetic Rebalance Ltd to register the kit in your name and to receive and view your results in order to provide the Services.
2.5 Before purchase, we ask you to confirm your explicit consent to: (a) the Laboratory analysing your sample and processing your genetic data under its privacy policy; (b) Genetic Rebalance Ltd registering your kit and receiving your results and report; and (c) Genetic Rebalance Ltd discussing your results, and any health information you share with us, with the Laboratory's nutrition specialist. We will not register a kit without this consent. You may withdraw consent at any time before your sample is analysed by contacting health@geneticrebalance.co.uk.
2.6 You must only order a test for yourself, or for another adult who has given their own consent. The name and email address provided must belong to the person taking the test.
3. No Medical Advice
3.1 The Services are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
3.2 Nothing in any report should be relied upon for diagnosis, medical decision-making, or treatment.
3.3 You should consult a qualified clinician regarding any health concerns.
3.4 Genetic Rebalance Ltd is not liable for any actions taken based on interpretation of the report.
4. Role of Stride (the Laboratory)
4.1 Stride is responsible for receiving DNA samples, analysing them, and generating results.
4.2 The Laboratory's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to the processing of your sample and genetic data, and are available here:

4.3 The Laboratory's processes, timelines, methodologies, and accuracy are outside our control.
4.4 We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the Laboratory's analysis.
5. Data Protection
5.1 We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Genetic Rebalance Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
5.2 We retain only the minimal administrative information needed to supply the Services.
5.3 Genetic Rebalance Ltd does not store your raw genetic data. We access your results only through the Laboratory's secure portal in order to deliver the Services.
5.4 Stride acts as a separate Data Controller for all genetic data and sample processing.
5.5 You are responsible for securely storing your report once issued.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genetic Rebalance Ltd is not liable for:
• indirect or consequential losses
• loss of profits or data
• reliance placed on the report
• delays, errors, or omissions by Stride
6.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
7. Refunds, Cancellations and Replacements
7.1 You may cancel within 14 days of your order confirmation for a full refund, provided the kit is returned unopened and unused. Between 14 and 60 days, an unused kit may be cancelled for a refund less £20. Registration of your kit before dispatch does not affect these rights.
7.2 No refund is available once the kit has been opened, your sample has been sent to the Laboratory, or your results have been delivered.
7.3 If your kit arrives damaged or faulty, notify us within 30 days of delivery for a free replacement. If your sample cannot be processed by the Laboratory, we will send you a free replacement kit.
7.4 Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All reports and materials remain the property of Genetic Rebalance Ltd and/or Stride.
8.2 You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the report for private wellness purposes only.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms are governed by English law.
9.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
